Future Bass is one of those genres where the majority of the music is made by relatively unknown producers, however there are a few authorities who know exactly how it’s done. San Holo is one of them, and has just proven that with his Victory EP. Consisting of three songs, it’s short and sweet, and is the epitome of what the genre is all about. This EP is unique in that it has a mood where you can dance to the music if you want, or sit back and just enjoy it. It is characterised by a juxtaposition of in-your-face (and quite plainly, rude) bass growls with high-pitched and pleasing Future Bass synths, and these work together to create a mix of sounds that don’t belong to any other genre or artist. This EP truly is a victory for San Holo, and adds three more quality tracks to his arsenal. Have a listen below!
