Two years ago, Savant decided he was going to take a hiatus from music entirely to re-focus and refresh himself and I hadn’t heard much from him since then, but after a pleasant surprise this morning, we’re no longer left in the dark. Good ‘ol Savant gives us this 8-bit sounding tune furthering his legacy of being in my opinion one of the most diverse producers to date. Something notable to mention is the expertly timed vocal clips to give a glitch-hop feel to the song, as well as with it being an upbeat house song while still throwing a slower switch up that is more like dubstep it’s safe to say this proves his diversity through and through. The Alchemist is back and with a first impression like this I truly do expect big things in the future.
