With the success of the original still resonating after its initial summer release, it comes as no surprise that this would get the remix treatment. Showtek & MOTi’s “Down Easy,” featuring Starley and former Fugee rapper and producer Wyclef Jean, is given a couple of reworks and a brand new club mix.
Out now via Universal Music Germany, remix one comes courtesy of LA based producer Henry Fong, who dishes out a kicking tropical inspired mix. Dutch production outfit Zonderling provide an energetic house edit, rippling with synths and bass and there’s an extended mix for all the club DJ’s too. The final addition, a club mix, is a high octane EDM/progressive hybrid with bellowing claps that once again ramp up the energy levels.
