I don’t know if it is because Thanksgiving (in the U.S.) is done with or my girlfriend is making me listen to Christmas music constantly now, but Morphine has that holiday feel in the way that the intro is. When you listen to the first twenty seconds or so, you will understand.
It quickly turns into the euphoric and relaxed style that you would expect from a song titled “morphine” . The song has short vocals expressing how someone misses that special person in their life. It is a sad song that lulls you into a calm state of mind.
Unlike many Slushii tracks, there is no serious drop in this song. It is very mellow and consistent with the slow tempo rhythm that it has. With that big difference from Slushii music, I thouroughly enjoyed the track. Give it a listen below and head to Hive to get your free copy.
