Sound Pixel takes an array of elements from electro and house and gives them a little swing to ultimately create the “Begin Again” EP. These three tracks provide listeners with a vast spectrum of electro house/swing styles and sounds that you are unlikely to find anywhere else. With the aptly named title of the EP, each track starts form a beginning (duh I know) but traverses through emotions and feelings all the while creating a warm and inviting atmosphere to this genre of electronic music.
This EP is the first release in almost half a year from Sound Pixel and the tracks flow together one after another. “Pure Genius” has the umbrella feel to it, loud and all-encompassing sounds that refuse to leave your attention alone for even a moment. “Different Gravity” takes the name seriously and develops perfect rise and fall moments with the melody while keeping the energy extremely high and the atmosphere bright and melodic. Finally we have “Vintage Party” which truly throws it back to swing and the style that captivated a nation. A huge divergence from the other two tracks in its design, all of the bright and fun elements remain to help round out this EP and make it a favorite.
