Slumberjack have been fairly quiet this year production wise, but they’ve obviously been focusing on quality over quantity. Their latest tune is a remix of huge grime artist Stormzy’s Scary, presumably conceived after they were a last minute replacement for him when he pulled out of the Australian Listen Out Festival. Scary is essentially an original song, using the minimal instrumental style of the original as a base off which they’ve leapt into Trap and Future Bass glory, with a sound design that’s probably unheard of and unparalleled, but suits the song perfectly. It’s utter madness to say the least, and given that you can get it for free just below it’d be a shame to miss out on this.
