Two worlds collide with “Labyrinth” as future bass enjoys a darker romance with pop-punk and some incredible live instrumentation. At first listen, I was slightly confused as to where the true electronic sound would be, but, as the track played on, I could hear the melodies and deeper bass sound work there way in. It was clear as the build happened that this track included elements from more than a few genres. With the drop came a great future bass sound that carried the vocals and excellent percussion into the electronic spectrum.
While a first listen may not be what you expected, the combination of live instruments, future bass melodies, and unique vocal structure give way to something entirely new and exciting. Take a listen to “Labyrinth” below and marvel at the creation of Teddy Marquee, Trevan, and KOU. Hopefully we’ll see more here soon. Enjoy!
