Ten Walls is one of those artists who doesn’t really care about the trend of the music business and instead prefers to give only the best of the best to his fans; focusing on quality despite of quantity. So, nobody was surprised by the fact that he has published only another track (Chains and Shackles) since his masterpiece, “Walking with Elephants'”, came out last year.
With the first taste of the summer season, it seems that the things are going to change because the Lithuanian mastermind has finally broken the six months silence with not one, but two brand new tunes: “Sparta” and “Blue Orphan.”
‘Sparta’ was the first to be unveiled and, already from the first listen, it’s clear that will be another Ibiza-ruling track. Honestly, Ten Walls didn’t make big changes in his music library: the bass, the characteristic horn synth and the minimal groove are the same ingredients of “Walking with Elephants,” only mixed in a different way which, however, sounds fresh and amazing like few other deep house tracks around at the moment.
‘Blue Orphan’ can be considered the B side of these Walls’ release, like I’ve said before, the elements are also in this case almost the same, but with this track, the Lithuanian producer has gone even more deep. There’s no more euphoric and sunny atmosphere, it’s all about introspection and melancholic melodies surrounded by a sophisticated groove which isn’t just functional, but has a primary role in the success of the tune.
