Back in 2001 two DJs by the name of Sammy and Yanou (also a member of Cascada) collaborated to cover a popular Bryan Adams song, by the name of Heaven. That’s exactly what the song sounds like, and as such it rocketed to the top of the charts nearly 20 years after the downbeat original version did the same. The increased BPM, female vocals and expertly designed synths combine to make a song that everyone’s danced to at some point in their lives, which is one of the best indicators of a classic. And this most definitely is.
