This one goes quite a way back! It may not be immediately recognisable as electronic (even though it could be classed as Disco or Eurodance), Rhythm Is A Dance is immediately recognisable through its vocals and its synths that are essentially the embodiment of the 1980’s. It topped charts worldwide, it was used in TV shows and advertisements and even re-entered the UK charts in 2008, 16 years after it was released. In fact, it was the second biggest song of 1992 after Whitney Houston’s I Will Always Love You. Now that’s impressive, especially for a group that never had any other big hits. Have a listen below if you feel like it.
