You may not be familiar with the name Stardust, but you should be very familiar with their only song ever: Music Sounds Better With You. A joint effort between producers Thomas Bangalter (one half of Daft Punk) and Alan Braxe as well as vocalist Benjamin Diamond, it’s a French House song known for its catchy guitar sample and vocals. Interestingly, the bassline and guitar sample are actually from a 2 second section of the introduction to Chaka Khan’s 1981 song Fate, which then had a dance beat and the vocals added to make Music Sounds Better With You. These simple additions made all the difference though, with its success leading to it being hailed as one of the best house songs ever and smashing the charts the world over. Go all the way back to 1998 and have a listen to a French House classic!
