Tom Staar & Corey James have just dropped the tribal house anthem of the summer in “Bird Flu”. If you have any pension for house music (like I do) then you should absolutely take a listen to this, I think what you’ll hear is worth your time.
A steady diet of tribal drums and what has to be a flute, accompanied by rhythmic, chant-like vocals gives this track an eerie feel that is inescapable and seems to build within you. The tribal nature of the track pushes it to new heights, giving off the anthemic vibe that so many festivals take hold of and latch onto. I can easily imagine walking past a stage at EDC and hearing this, stopping, and staying to listen to more simply because it is different and the rhythm and melodies are catchy as all hell.
