Top 5 Reasons You Need To Be At Electric Paradise

December 9, 2015 by Nick Pesavento

electric paradise

If you haven’t seen anything about Electric Paradise, it is an awesome festival that is happening next weekend, December 19th, in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. The multi-stage, multi-genre festival is set to kick off one of the largest festivals in the region and certainly the biggest in the Dominican Republic. With world class talent ready to hit the stage in just over a week, we’ve put together our top 5 reasons that you need to be at Electric Paradise.

1. The Lineup, Duh.

Here’s the lineup in case you haven’t already seen it.

Now tell me those aren’t some of the biggest names to grace a lineup not named Ultra, EDC, or Tomorrowworld. The level of talent here is out of this world and the best part is, with multiple stages, you can check out as many of the artists as possible playing plenty of different genres. Aren’t really feeling the trap of Major Lazer, check out some Martin Garrix or Gorgon City, in the mood for something a little more emotional, definitely check out Porter. This lineup has it all and with plenty of variety and the multi-stage design, this festival is set to wow everyone.

2. The Location

Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Reportedly home to one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. While we are all freezing our asses off up hear, you’ll be partying in the Caribbean with the likes of Skrillex, Martin Garrix, and more in one of the most beautiful locations. Need I say more than that? Here is a little taste of the beaches in Punta Cana.

3. The Food

Surely you’ve been to festivals and marveled at all of the food choices. Maybe you’re like me and with each new festival, seek out some of the specialty food that is featured from where the festival is located. Well you’re in for a treat either way. The food choices here are abundant and capture the rich diversity of the island nation. You can find all of the food choices right here, and make sure you carve out some time to pick your favorite and sit down to enjoy it. You’ll thank me later if you do!

4. The Setup

3 stages, multiple VIP areas, food, art, and close proximity to the beach, Electric Paradise has pulled out all of the stops in making this festival the most fun and enjoyable one all year. Having looked at the stage setup, it doesn’t appear that sound from one stage will bleed into the others and the VIP decks look like they have great positioning to see the stage. Throw in all of the delicious food options, the art, and you have yourself one of the most picturesque festivals around. Check out the full setup right here!

5. The Atmosphere

Have you ever partied at a festival set right on the beach? Let alone one of the most beautiful beaches in the world? I certainly haven’t, but there is no way that it falls short of anything but fantastic. Though it might be winter in the northern latitudes, the Dominican Republic still sits in the warm weather of the mid 70’s during the day and cooling off a little at night. You’ll enjoy every minute of your paradise adventure with one of the best lineups this year in the most beautiful location.

Make sure you grab your tickets and know how you’re getting to the festival next weekend. Here is a small travel guide that Electric Paradise put together! Enjoy the beautiful beaches and the warm sand while we do our best not to freeze our asses off!
