Brazilian duo Tropkillaz return with a killer four-track EP of South American flavoured beats and bass this week. Dropping nicely as a freebie via the pairs’ SoundCloud, as well as being available across other digital platforms, ‘TCHUM TCHAH!” is an explosive mix of styles incorporating trap, hip hop, Moombahton and much, much more.
Opening track “Disbroqueia a Tela” starts off with low-slung grooves and Latin vocals, while steely percussion cuts through the mix before it briefly bursts into colour with an explosion of carnival like flair and choppy vox edits. Elsewhere you get “Dibre” featuring fellow Brazilians DKVPZ – fusing trap swagger with rapid fire chipmunk vocal sampling, another standout on an impressive free EP which you can get on their SoundCloud now.
