Ultra Music Festival in Miami is officially one week away from opening day. That means that the app is released, the stages are set up, and times have been given to each artist. When Phase 2 was announced there were so artists that were not yet announced. In Phase 3 there were support artists added. Those artists include:
- Blasterjaxx
- Bob Moses
- Borgeous
- Don Diablo
- Fedde LeGrand
- Felix Jaehn
- Getter
- MakJ
- Markus Schulz
- Peaches
Again, some brilliant artists, some interesting choices, and some people that I am not really that excited to see. But what are you going to do, right? I am still thrilled to have the opportunity to go down.
Two new stages have been added as well to the list. On the Phase 2 announcement it was not made clear who was performing on Stage 7 or Oasis, but this last announcement doesn’t just tell you who is performing, but also where they are performing.
If you are at all scatter-brained like I am you will need the app to keep track of it all, and to be honest, that thing is coming in more use than I initially thought it was. I’m noticing that having an app for the festival is a trend a lot of festivals are following; it is turning a great idea. If you are interested in downloading the app, go to the Apple Store or Google Play and type in Ultra 2016 in the search, which is how I found mine. This is what the app looks like once it is downloaded:
Below I have broken down the announcement photo by stage. That way you can see set times, who is performing on what stage, and what day they are performing. This information is all in the app as well.

Also, this is what the ticket package looks like. It comes in a can with a removable top. Inside the can is:
The 3-day pass, with perforations for each day. If you lose this one ticket, you are not allowed back in.
- A tiny capsule on a key chain that comes with a set of earplugs.
- A pair of odd looking sunglasses that come in a small pouch.
- A bandana that comes with instructions on 10 different ways to wear it.
To be honest, I wont use any of that except maybe the sunglasses pouch for my regular sunglasses, but its still nice that for like $300 they sent me a care package, right?
