Urbandawn – Gothenburg Cluster

This album overall, is a masterpiece. I had first heard of Urbandawn through Hospital Records’ video they released regarding the announcement of Hospitality In The Dock featuring his song Foley Funk which just so happens to be from this album. So from there I searched up Foley Funk on Soundcloud and here I am telling you about this work of art. It is BEYOND hard to find a favorite song off of this album. I’m between two songs, They Told Me (feat. Thomas Oliver) or Foley Funk and for very good reasons. They’re just both opposite ends of the spectrum when it comes to drum and bass music, and this album touches on everything I feel like. You have your liquid which you’d expect from Hospital, but also your neurofunk, and your half time and even some jungle.

He also has a stellar collaboration with one of my favorite artists, Keeno and they absolutely smashed that track as well giving some wonderful vibrations with it. But please, just the three tracks I mentioned are few of the many wonderful tracks on this album. Please just sit down and listen to the whole album if you can, you really will not regret it or throw it on while you’re studying or reading or doing homework. It’s an album that gives you peace of mind to get things done throughout the day. Check out a few of the tracks below on Urbandawn’s Soundcloud and check out the album when it releases on November 11th!
