This was unexpected. Krane has gone left field here from his usual style and taken on The Weeknd’s Party Monster, with devastatingly emotional results. The remix takes its time to rise from a slumber to the highest of peaks, but the way that Krane achieved that shows that his production isn’t just focused on churning out Trap or Future Bass bangers. Yes, the remix is Future Bass, but the point of the song is not to make you dance; instead it’s to evoke feelings of wonder, amazement and happiness. And for me at least, it definitely achieved that.
