WRLD has gifted us some new music for 2016 with a new EP titled “Awake”. This synth-8-bit concoction takes elements from a few genres and blends them together for an EP that is surely unique to your ears and mine. The feel-good vocals compliment the upbeat, uptempo rhythms and synth heavy melodies. There is some bass, don’t think WRLD would leave that out for a moment. As the EP journeys on, the melodies get a little deeper and more mysterious, taking listeners down a few different paths.
