If you didn’t know, Mars is attempting to reimagine the M&M’s theme song. To do this, they recruited the help of Zedd and Aloe Blacc to create “The Candyman”. Blacc on vocals is always a treat for listeners and Zedd hardly ever disappoints. The track uses upbeat synths and beats that are expected by now from Zedd and work in great imagining it behind an M&M’s commercial. Usually I don’t like when artists add their talents for the sake of commercial “jingles” but this is a song that you can enjoy without even knowing that it was created at the request of Mars. Zedd brought back his old style and produced this awesome Pop/dance track.
And if you couldn’t tell, Zedd is happy to say that the track is finished.
