Insomniac is continuing to innovate for the 20th anniversary, “20 Years Under the Electric Sky,” of Electric Daisy Carnival, which will be taking place in Las Vegas June 17th through June 19th. Earlier this month, we wrote about the amazing additions at Carnival Square. Now, we have 20 new additions to EDC that give attendees, amongst other things, a walk down Memory Lane, more types of performances, and new stages. The list below contains the newest EDC20 additions:
- EDC20 goes green with food vendors having the cooking oil they’ve used during the festival transported and converted to be used as biofuel.
- The Chapel of Nature (organic and earth-inspired) and The Chapel of Future (modern technology themed) are the two chapels where attendees can go to be married.
- Full-service hair, makeup and body art will be available by appointment at the kineticFIELD VIP Beauty Bar.
- Memory Lane will allow for attendees to relive 20 years of EDC photography, graphic art and video footage, immersing all in the rich history of dance music culture.
- Dreamstate, which is Insomniac’s premiere trance brand, will host a day on the circuitGROUNDS for the first time at EDCLV.
- kineticFIELD’s VIP Bubbles Bar will has a special champagne-only menu. This will include mimosas, bellinis, and by-the-glass champagne.
- Global Inheritance, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping the environment, will be hosting the Live Recycling Bin Painting art project to remind attendees of the importance of recycling. The TRASHed Recycling Store will also be making a return.
- Uber will be more involved in the EDC Las Vegas experience with the opportunity to travel by car or chopper. There will also be a private Uber Lounge, proving charging stations, and a cool spot with shade and music while waiting for rides.
- Longshot Coffee, the LA-based, Australian roast coffee shop, will have a mobile cart around the VIP area of kineticFIELD. They will have iced mochas, iced vanilla lattes and iced caramel coffee drinks for an extra boost of energy during the festival.
- The biggest EDC Parade will be returning this year. Each night, close to midnight, there will be four new art cars, 15 whimsical vehicles, and new costumed performers. More will be revealed during the procession.
- EDC Town will be returning near cosmicMEADOW with new attractions like the Little Red School House (location of unique classes), EDC Theatre (where fans can see a magic show), or the EDC Saloon (a place to get drinks all weekend).
- As mentioned in previous posts, HeadCount will have a booth in Carnival Square to sign up to vote in this November’s presidential election.
- Heathen & Kaliope is a new giant red Art Car. It will resemble a fire truck and an animal circus. It will be roaming throughout the venue this weekend.
- kineticFIELD’s VIP area will have a new Tiki Bar offering all new mixtures.
- Troupes of new performers will be dressed as Fire Phoenix Stilters, Sunshine Harleys and Deep Sea Sirens to entertain guests.
- A collector’s edition anniversary EDC20 festival guide will be released by The Insomniac magazine. It will feature essential festival information, eclusive photos, behind-the-scenes stories, and photos of some of the amazing Headliners.
- neonGARDEN’s VIP lounge will have plush daybeds, pool tables, a juice bar, food trucks, and life-size games for VIP attendees.
- Vape Village will be a section at EDCLV where anyone who Vapes will be able to find an array of liquids and name-brand vendors to fill empty pens, eGo devices, mods or AVPs.
- Mentioned in the Carnival Square post, free WiFi will be offered for quick social media uploads.
- And to top it all off, of course, as quoted from Insomiac, “BRAND. NEW. STAGES.”
If you are attending EDCLV this year. You are going to have an amazing experience.
