Last year BeachGlow went through terrible weather conditions. Went through a city and venue change. Date change. Rules change. It wasn’t ideal, but despite it all, they achieved what they wanted: BeachGlow and Tommy Trash donated $30,000 to Little Kids Rock. That’s what matters. We covered the event from start to finish. One thing we learned is their resiliency of the BeachGlow team and the Kunkel family to keep this festival going and growing to support the children.
With all that said, BeachGlow is coming back for 2016 in their hometown, Wildwood, New Jersey. This time, it is a multi-day and multi-genre festival that will take place on July 8th and July 9th. Once again, BeachGlow will donate proceeds from the festival to national nonprofit Little Kids Rock. This will bring music programs to deserving or underfunded public schools in Wildwood and Philadelphia area. From last year’s donation, ten public schools in Atlantic City and Philadelphia benefited with music programs. Talent and on-sale ticket date will be announced soon.
