[Event Preview] Phoenix Lights Music and Arts Festival

March 16, 2015 by Nick Pesavento

Arizona for spring break. What could be better you ask? Well how about some of the best DJ’s in the world performing in the middle of a park dedicated to a UFO sighting? This ladies and gentleman is Phoenix Lights.

One week from now, March 22 I will be traveling South to Phoenix to enjoy the beautiful weather and the incredible music. The lineup is a mix of everything and has something for every person in attendance. Over the last few months, I have had the pleasure of interviewing the founder of Phoenix Lights, Jarid Dietrich where we talked about the festival and everything we could possible expect. There was also an incredible interview with one of the headlining DJ’s, Route 94, which you can find right here.

Through both of these interviews, I was able to put together my picture of what Phoenix Lights would be like. With a theme relating to light and the mass UFO sighting that occurred at the venue, Civic Space Park, the festival is truly creating an experience for the fans. With art that will be created on-site throughout the festival, it gives the attendees another glimpse into the culture that is electronic music.

With so much emphasis on freedom of expression, Jarid and his team have created the perfect atmosphere for the attendees to feel at home; enjoying the incredible music and production, while seeing how the artists take their ideas and create them right then and there.

I cannot wait to finally visit Arizona and walk through the gates at Phoenix Lights. Not only will I enjoy it, but keep an eye out for my review of the festival as there is sure to be a surprise or two there. Get your tickets for Phoenix Lights now and come join me in Phoenix to kick off the inaugural Phoenix Lights and spring break! Check out some music from artists such as Hardwell, Zeds Dead, Lane 8, Robin Schulz and Route 94 below!
