This is perhaps one of the best articles I have read on the Washington Post in a long time. What the article was trying to establish is they have broken down to the the angles and velocity needed for males to have the ideal dance moves to court a female. I figured I would share it here as well as the main points for all you gentlemen who want to woo a female in order to mate for recreation with her. This is also for the females to help you identify these males.
Researchers from Northumbria University and the University of Gottingen studied males who were dancing for a total of 90 seconds. In these studies, they focused on the joints of body: neck, legs, knees, shoulders, arms, etc. They also focused on the speed, size, and variety of movements. They broke it down to degrees and a bunch of math that you probably don’t understand.
What they concluded is that males who dance with larger, variable movements are considered better dancers. They also found that the your leg speed as well as your right knee came into account. Statistically, they showed that left leg dancers were not as good as right leg dancers. With all this data, they were able to put together two simulations of good and bad dancers.
