SHOTS FIRED: Beamz Responds to Deadmau5’s Criticisms

As you already know, Deadmau5 is one of the most outspoken names in the industry. He absolutely loves interacting with fans through Twitter, Facebook, and recently, Reddit. On September 10th, he jokingly made a tweet about his career being over because of the product Beamz by Flo Rida (commercial found here).

This eventually turned into one of his hilarious tangents by tearing the commercial apart. Eventually, he jokingly reconsiders and asks for $7 million in unmarked bills and he would support the project. If they would throw $30 more, he would include Zedd in “mighty handjobs.”

Surprisingly enough, Beamz tried to manage to recover the situation by offering a pair to try. Deadmau5 decides to continue the trolling and asks them to send them to the dormant island next to Tristan da Cunha.

Deadmau5 doesn’t stop with the trolling by offering his own version of Beamz called, “Deadmau5 Bandz.”

Once again, Beamz tries to recover the situation by stating that they are working on their own version of the Deadmau5 Bandz.

 

Based on that, we thought it was over between the two and everything was to be normal again…

…Until two weeks later when he brings along his Beamz on one of his coffee runs.

We didn’t hear anything since until last night when Deadmau5 expressed his anger on Beamz’s response with their latest advertisement: Beamz – so easy even a mouse can play it.

This is where it becomes unsettling. To get back at Deadmau5, they decided to release an official commercial to “bite back” but it seems like that may have just backfired on them. With the few tweets posted by Deadmau5 last night, it seems like this is hopefully going to swing in his favor (although we are no lawyers…but we can pretend to be).

He is right. He was only trolling and they dropped the ball hard because they tried to go above and beyond to show him up.

While other DJ’s such as Steve Angello, Zedd, and Wolfgang Gartner agree as shown above, that was the end of it for Deadmau5 as he moved on to trolling Tiesto and his management.
