SFX Entertainment Bankruptcy Case Releases Partial Lineups for the Majority of 2016

March 29, 2016 by Theo Maulen

SFX Entertainment has been in the news pretty often recently because of their Bankruptcy legal case. They have had to cancel an event and auctioning assets like Beatport, Inc. The latest update is that SFX has documents that list partial lineups for some of the biggest festivals that have happened and that are happening in 2016.

An interesting aspect regarding these partial lineups is that the majority of the listings are for festivals that haven’t occurred yet. These are partial lineups that are not yet released officially to the general public. SFX Entertainment, Inc. has been in possession of  these lists of artists performing different festivals and venues for an unknown amount of time. These are lists that SFX Entertainment, venues and festival organizers or managers have decided it is too early to announce to the general public.

Now, because these court documents are being released as part of the SFX Entertainment bankruptcy lawsuit. The biggest festivals of the year are claiming on their websites that lineups are not released while partial lists can be found on the internet. These are the releases they did not intend on having come out until closer to the event in Phases 1 or 2 of the lineup announcements. A strategy many festivals do to encourage ticket buying as the festival date approaches.

At the bottom of the page you can find a link to a copy of the Court Documents as well as a full list of released names, events, and locations. All information taken directly from the court documents.

Electric Zoo, Mamby On The Beach, Spring Awakening are known to have not yet to release their 2016 lineups but fans have been begging for at least a Phase 1 Release. Their lists are directly below with the all releases following in picture form.
